Description
Handy, accurate and versatile coating thickness gauge for use in laboratories, factories and on the go.
The Elektrophysik MiniTest 700 coating thickness gauge is available in three models:
- MiniTest 720: with built-in integral sensor
- MiniTest 730: external sensor with cable connection to device
- MiniTest 740: interchangeable sensors with plug-in and cable connection to device.
The MiniTest 700 series devices enable non-destructive coating thickness measurement of non-magnetic surfaces (paint, synthetic material, chromium etc.) on ferromagnetic substrates (steel) and of insulating coatings (varnish, enamel, synthetic material etc.) on conductive substrates (aluminium, copper, austenitic stainless steel).
The MiniTest 700 series devices can be employed for a variety of measurements, offer different calibration methods and because of the compact design are suited for use as much in quality assurance laboratories, as in production processes and on the go.
The SIDSP sensors are technologically advanced and unique in their accuracy and reproducibility on account of their manufacturing process. Despite high accuracy the sensors are wear resistant and withstand even years of use on rough surfaces. Each sensor is subject to a fully automatic factory test and provided with 50 calibration points for correction of even the slightest deviations. Furthermore, while manufacturing them each sensor is encoded with temperature compensation for automatic correction of the effects of temperature on readings.
The MiniTest 700 coating thickness gauge devices are operated via a graphic interface; the menu-driven user guidance is available in 20 languages.
